Craig caught the first fish!

Then it was my turn to catch a fish!

But before that:

I had never been shore fishing before....never had to cast a line before. So, Craig was teaching me how to do it. After a demonstration, I was fully convinced I could do it. I swung the pole back and then cast the line....right into the tree I was standing next to!

If you look close, you can see the line tangled in the tree.

I got better after that first try.

We caught the limit!
