Working with kids can be fun. At work the other day, the kids were sitting in a circle doing "calendar time."
Teacher: We are in a new month, can anyone remember what month it is?
Preschooler 1: December!
Teacher: No....but close
Preschooler 2: November?
Teacher: J....j....it starts with the "j" sound.
Preschooler 3: J-vember!!!!!!!!

The kids were sitting in a cirle talking about the body.
Teacher: Tonya brought this, does anyone remember what is is?
Kids: Ssssss...t...
Teacher: A stethoscope!
Kids start taking turns listening to each others heartbeats.
Tonya: Can you hear the heartbeat?
Preschooler 1: No
Tonya: How about now? Now can you hear it?
Preschooler 1: No
Tonya: How about now?
Preschooler 1: No, I think the heart is sleeping.
